A Legacy of Healing Spanning Generations
Padiyath Apasmara Chikitsalayam is a distinguished Ayurveda Chikilsalyam with a rich history dating back to the 1830s. Our journey began with Enikutty Kutty Molla, who received the ancient knowledge of ‘Apasmara neyy’ from Mamburam Thangal (Manmburam quthubuzaman sayyid alavi). This precious knowledge has been passed down through generations, shaping our legacy of holistic healing.
The name “Padiyath” holds a special significance. It was acquired when Moideen Haji Paappa purchased the Padiyath Naalukettu house from Hindu Nair brothers near Valavannur Paadam. This historic house became the epicenter for the creation and preservation of ‘Apasmara neyy,’ giving rise to the name “Padiyath Apasmara Neyy.”
The practice of ‘Athmeeya Chikilsa’ was continued by Moideen Haji Paappa, Moideen Kutty, and Padiyath Bappuhaji, also known as Moideen Haji. The torchbearer of this tradition, Padiyath Kunjimon Haji, also known as Aburahiman Haji PC, initiated a groundbreaking venture in 2005 – Padiyath Pharmaceuticals.
Established on June 11, 2005, Padiyath Pharmaceuticals is a pharmaceutical company with drug licenses, GMP licenses, excise licenses, and factories and boilers licenses. Our state-of-the-art facilities produce a range of medicines, including the licensed Padiyath Apasmara Gritham and 18 patented formulations, such as ‘Aristam and Asava,’ kashayam, lehyam, thailam, gritham, churnam, tablets, postpartum medicines, and syrups.
With a commitment to quality, Padiyath Pharmaceuticals has expanded its footprint. We currently operate four branches, have ten distribution points, and collaborate with nearly sixty agencies, ensuring our healing formulations reach those in need.
Enikutty Kutty Molla, who received the ancient knowledge of ‘Apasmara neyy’ from Mamburam Thangal, formulates the first Apasmara Gritham in Padiyath Tharavad, giving rise to the name “Padiyath Parambarya Apasmara Gritham.”

With a legacy spanning 195 years, Padiyath Apasmara Gritham and Chikitsa have been mastered by Enikutty Molla and passed down through generations, reaching its zenith with Padiyath Kunjimon Haji, S/o Padiyath Bappu Haji — the fifth generation heir.
